Pakistan’s 2026 Hajj Flight Schedule: 468 Flights for 120,000 Pilgrims

Pakistan is set for the 2026 Hajj season as the Ministry of Religious Affairs announced the government’s flight schedule. A total of 468 flights will transport pilgrims to Saudi Arabia over 34 days, carrying about 120,000 selected worshippers under the government scheme.

Visas for the pilgrims were issued following Saudi timelines, with logistics finalized across eight departure cities. The ministry highlighted that the operation will begin with Madinah flights in the first 15 days, and later include departures to Jeddah starting May 4 for travellers nationwide and smoother processing.

The government noted that the first long-haul Hajj flight to Madinah is scheduled for May 7. Among the 468 flights, 186 will land in Madinah and 282 in Jeddah, with multiple carriers, including Pakistan International Airlines and Saudi partners, coordinating the operations across the season.

Eight cities will host the operation: Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Multan, Sialkot, Faisalabad, and Sukkur. The distribution enhances regional access, ensuring travellers from all provinces reach Hajj terminals with ease while airlines manage schedules to prevent bottlenecks and minimize delays for pilgrims.
